Research shows that exercise is good for Mums-to-Be and New Mums.
Our 45 minute Bumps and Mums classes, of specially designed exercises in our fully equipped Gym, are limited to just 4 members to ensure that you receive individual tuition and support.
Our Bumps and Mums classes are suitable for all Mums-to-Be and New Mums whatever your current fitness level. We tailor our tuition and support to help you, whether you are:
- an absolute fitness beginner;
- a super-fit Mum looking for new challenges; or
- somewhere in between.
Wodson Park's Bumps and Mums Classes are a fun and social way to:
- increase your overall fitness;
- improve your stability and muscle tone (especially your legs, tummy and arms);
- enhance your posture (by strengthening your core muscles);and
- meet other Mums-to-Be and New Mums.

Our friendly, experienced ante-natal class instructors will devise bespoke personal sessions (best for you and your growing baby) to improve:
- your muscle tone; and
- your strength and endurance;
- at a comfortable pace for you.
After your Bumps and Mums class, please come and enjoy a free, complimentary regular tea, coffee or herbal tea in our Café, and meet up with other Wodson Park Mums-to-Be and New Mums.

New Mums
Regular exercise will not only help you to achieve your goal, but it also aids relaxation - and a less stressed Mum makes for a happier baby!
After your Bumps and Mums class, please come and enjoy a free, complimentary regular tea, coffee or herbal tea in our Café, and meet up with other Wodson Park Mums-to-Be and New Mums.

Buggy Circuit Classes
Our Buggy Circuit Class is a Postnatal Fitness programme for Mums with their babies in their buggies, and is a great way to:
- get fit;
- lose weight;
- make friends; and
- avoid or alleviate symptoms of post-natal depression.
Our Buggy Circuit Class workouts cater for all fitness levels, by combining cardiovascular & toning exercises including:
- walking and running; and
- exercises to improve your posture, muscle strength and fitness levels which have been effected by pregnancy and childbirth.
and run on the following mornings:
- Monday;
- Wednesday; and
- Thursday.
ALL of our Buggy Circuit Classes run for 45 minutes, and cost:
- £5.50 per class; or
- £50 for a block of 10 classes (which must be used within 3 months).
Please wear comfortable clothing and trainers for your Buggy Circuit Class, and remember to bring:
- a towel / mat for any floor work;
- a waterproof coat / anorak for you; and
- a rain cover for your baby's buggy.
You do NOT have to make a booking for our Buggy Circuit Classes, as long as you've had your post-natal check with the Dr/Physio before attending.
