Wodson Park’s Fitness Suite has over 45 stations of the latest cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, cross trainers, rowing machines, bikes and steppers, plus a full range of resistance weights machines and free weights.

Fitness Suite Use
Unrestricted use of the Fitness Suite is only available to
Adult Members of Wodson Park,
who have completed a Fitness Suite induction.
Young People aged 14 – 18 years
who are Members of Wodson Park and who have completed a Fitness Suite Induction may also use the Fitness Suite, but (for safety reasons) only when the duty Instructors can provide adequate supervision.
We also offer Shape Up Gym sessions for which are specially designed for Young People aged 12–16 years . The 5 week programme is directly supervised by Dan, our experienced gym instructor, and utilises weights and cardio equipment.

So, what happens at a Fitness Suite Induction?
- Your induction will be a one-to-one session, lasting approximately an hour, with one of our friendly, qualified instructors;
- Your discussion will include your current fitness level, your fitness goals and potential timeframes. Your instructor will then devise a personalised Exercise Programme for you that will help you to set realistic exercise and workout targets for the next few months;
- Your instructor will also show you how our fitness equipment and machines work, and show you how to programme them for your personalised workout.
FREE Help After Your Induction
Our friendly instructors are always willing to help or assist you with any difficulties, for advice or just for a chat.
If you are new to exercising in a Fitness Suite, we recommend that you book one or two additional appointments (they are also FREE!) with one of our instructors within your first few weeks, to ensure that you are comfortable with your personal exercise programme.

All of our personalised Exercise Programme Reviews are FREE OF CHARGE.
Your instructor will recommend how many Fitness Suite sessions you should complete before your personal exercise programme should be reviewed.
After your initial review, our instructors will continue to support you with regular
on-going personalised exercise programme reviews and advice, to help you to stay motivated and achieve the fitness results you want.
All of our personalised Exercise Programme Reviews are FREE OF CHARGE.

Additional Fitness Facilities
Physiotherapy and Treatment
We are delighted to be able to offer friendly and comprehensive massage and physiotherapy rehabilitation services at Wodson Park. Please see our Physiotherapy and Treatment page for more details.
Fitness Testing
We are also able to offer body fat and blood pressure checks.
These checks take just 30 minutes and cost £5.

Personal Trainer
If you need that little bit of extra help to keep you motivated why not book a personal training session?
Each session will be tailored to help you reach your fitness goals - ideal if you are easily bored, lack enthusiasm or you simply need a push in the right direction.
Our resident Sports Masseur and Personal Trainer Alison Lewis currently charges £15 for a half hour personalised coaching session and £25 for an hour.
