Active Seniors
Research has shown that staying physically active and exercising regularly can:
- Improve mood and relieve depression
- Prevent or delay some illnesses
Long-term, regular exercise can also improve health for those who already have health issues and disabilities.
Wodson Park’s active seniors classes are a fun and sociable way to improve and maintain fitness, and many of our active seniors continue the craic after class, by staying on for a coffee and a chat in our café.
Although our fitness and wellbeing classes are open to everyone aged over 16 years, we also offer a variety of specific classes designed especially with active seniors in mind.
