including opportunities to:

Try Something New
 ~  have a go on the climbing wall;
 
 ~  have some fun with the inflatable Sumo suit;

 ~  test your football skills – can YOU beat the goalie?
 
 ~  try out your driving skills with the:
     Herts Radio Car Club; and 
     the Wheelie-Good Mini Jeeps. 

Help raise money for local charities, including:
 ~  CHIPs;
 ~  Isobel Hospice;
 ~  MS Society; and
 ~  Prostrate Cancer,
by supporting their raffles, tombola’s, games and buying their special merchandise.

Bring all your Family!

Have a bite to eat
and a drink in our
Café, Bar or our
Coffee Retreat. 

Take part in one or more of our traditional Summer Events that are running throughout the day, including: 


 ~  Best dressed King and Queen Competition
     (for 2-10 year olds) 
     with Jubilee goodies for all entrants 

 ~  Old Fashioned Family Sports
      Remember the egg and spoon race?
      Prizes for the winners of each age group  

 ~  Fun Run – lovely 1 mile course
     Suitable for Everyone
     Medals for All Finishers

 ~  Traditional Barn Dance - with a caller
      No experience necessary, just turn up and dance!

     in the studio - lead by Lynsey Peters

Wodson Park
will be transformed
into a
Concert Hall 
on

Saturday
16th June
at 8pm





when the combination of a chorus of 200, an orchestra of 70 musicians plus 3 solo singers will perform Carl Orff’s cantata Carmina Burana.

Royston and Bishop’s Stortford Choral Societies' last combined performance - Verdi’s Requiem in Thaxted in 2010 – was described as a ‘tour de force’. 

They are looking forward to repeating that success by joining with Broxbourne Chorus and East Herts Youth Choir to create a 200-voice choir.

The massed choir will be joined by
Lina Saavedra (soprano),
Stephen Douse (tenor),
Terence den Dulk (baritone) and the
Stortford Sinfonia with David Boarder (conductor).

Also included in the programme are: 
 ~  Parry’s Blest pair of sirens, which was   
     performed at William and Kate’s wedding last year,

and two orchestral pieces:
 ~  Bernstein’s overture Candide and
 ~  Adams’ Short ride in a fast machine.

Tickets cost £20 (concessions £15) and are available from Wodson Park Reception.
