Welcome to Wodson Park

I'm not sure what Norman Wodson envisaged when he made his original bequest, but I'm certain he wouldn't have anticipated many of the events that have taken place at Wodson Park; the Park has certainly changed from the potato field it once was.

kids playing table tennisIt's been several years since Wodson Park first opened as a community based charity providing sports and recreation facilities for the people of East Herts. During that time it has grown beyond anyone's wildest dreams, but our mission remains the same; we aim to inspire and support sustainable, healthy lifestyles by providing opportunities for everyone within East Hertfordshire to participate in a wide range of safe and affordable sports and leisure activities. Our committed staff team makes everyone feel welcome, regardless of their level of fitness or age.

Unlike many other sports centres and gyms we have no small print - you won't be tied into expensive or minimum term contracts. We have annual and short term membership offers, both give great savings and enable access to extra benefits such as reduced rates for parties, but you can also take part in classes as a non-member on a "pay as you exercise" basis.

If you haven't tried us please come along - we think you will enjoy the experience. If you have, we look forward to welcoming you back again soon
