Wodson Park Activities
We have a wide range of facilities and an extensive programme of activities for pre-school children.
Outdoor Play Area
Located between Wodson Park’s southern car park and Wadesmill Road, (with a pedestrian access from both), East Hertfordshire District Council’s well-equipped, outdoor Children’s Play Area is a great FREE resource for pre-school children.
This securely fenced, soft-surfaced play space contains swings, spring rockers, climbing frames and a slide.
Kids Zone
East Herts District Council's Children's Play Area is also not far from Wodson Park's main entrance – where we have baby changing facilities and toilets on our ground floor, and a Café with a Kids Zone on our first floor.
Designed especially for our younger members,
Kids Zone is an area of our Honeysuckle Café containing a selection of books, toys and DVDs to amuse our younger members while the grown ups are chatting.

Action Tots
Fun, pre-school gymnastics and agility sessions with fully qualified supervision, for three age groups:
~ Under 2 years – fun, informal Soft Play classes for small folk who are just
beginning to find their feet;
~ 2 years – fun structured classes to enable children to enjoy physical movement,
via play, song, dance, balancing and climbing;
~ 3 and 4 years – fun structured classes to encourage more confident children to
master new skills and acquire greater co-ordination.

Why not let us help you to take the stress out of organising your child’s party?
~ You can hire one of our halls and hold a sports-themed party.
~ We can organise your birthday cakes and party boxes and perhaps more
importantly, we will clean up the mess afterwards!
